This semester, the OSSLT will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025.

📅 Test Day Schedule

Testing Time: 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Location: Period 1 classrooms

  • Grade 10 students without a Period 1 class, or students writing in Grade 11 or 12, will be assigned a classroom.

  • Students not writing the test may attend tutoring sessions in the cafeteria during the morning.

Morning Schedule

  • 7:45 a.m. – Classrooms open, students seated

  • 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. – OSSLT / Tutorials in the cafeteria

📘 Upcoming Dates & Preparation Sessions

Thursday, November 6

  • Grade 10 Period 1 classes will attend an OSSLT presentation in the cafeteria

  • Students will receive online practice resources and must bring their Lenovo laptops

Week of November 10

  • In-class literacy lessons (4 sessions) focusing on key test components

  • Delivered by classroom teachers during regular class time

Tuesday, November 18 – Library

  • Drop-in Tech Support Sessions for device updates

  • Assistance provided for Safe Exam Browser installation

  • Families are encouraged to help students update their school-issued laptops at home

Wednesday, November 19 – Lecture Hall

  • During Periods 3 and 4 lunch, students can meet with members of the Literacy Committee for last-minute support and test strategies
