Honour Roll Celebration
St. John Henry Newman Catholic Secondary School recently celebrated the academic achievements of its students at the annual Honour Roll Ceremony, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence displayed by the young scholars. This special event, held in the school’s cafetorium, gathered students, teachers, and staff to recognize the accomplishments of those who reached or exceeded Newman’s high academic standards throughout the school year.
Principal Mr. Macaluso expressed pride in the students’ efforts, noting that the Honour Roll reflects more than just grades; it showcases resilience, discipline, and the passion for learning that Newman strives to cultivate in all its students. We are immensely proud of each student recognized today. They have demonstrated that hard work and dedication lead to success, embodying the values of St. John Henry Newman and setting an inspiring example for their peers.
During the ceremony, students received certificates and words of encouragement from teachers and school leaders, celebrating not only academic success but also their growth as individuals and community members. The Honour Roll students represented various grade levels and academic disciplines, emphasizing that Newman’s commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity and achievement extends across all fields.
The school extends its gratitude to the teachers and families who support these students daily, and it looks forward to more achievements as students continue to pursue their goals. As Newman champions, these students set a high standard and inspire others to strive for excellence.
