The link below provides access to the online store where students can purchase their Phys‑Ed and Dance class uniform items from T. Litzen Sports. All required uniform pieces are available directly through this portal for convenient ordering. Once orders are placed, they will be delivered to the school for pick‑up between February 23–27. Families will be notified when items are ready for distribution. Please ensure that your child’s full name is used when completing the order form to support accurate sorting and delivery. Hamilton Public Health Services will be holding a vaccine clinic at St. John Henry Newman on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. This is not a COVID vaccine clinic. These clinics are an opportunity to update records and/or receive missing routine childhood vaccinations. What you need to know • View vaccine records and/or report vaccines by visiting: www.hamilton.ca/vaccines or call Hamilton Public Health Services: 905-540-5250 • On the clinic day, wear a short-sleeved shirt and eat breakfast. • Did you receive a vaccine reminder letter? If so, bring it to the clinic with your yellow vaccine card if you have one. • Failure to receive required vaccinations can result in future suspension.

As we approach the end of the semester, all students are expected to prepare thoroughly for and attend their scheduled final exams, as attendance is mandatory and exams must be written as scheduled. Students are also responsible for completing all end-of-semester requirements, including returning school materials, clearing lockers, and checking school communications for important updates.

Keep Them Cozy Winter Donation Drive

St. John Henry Newman is supporting the HWCDSB Keep Them Cozy Campaign by collecting winter clothing and monetary donations to help families in need within our school community. All contributions will stay at Newman and be used through the Adopt a Family program, with Student Council leading a class competition to encourage participation.

Kindness Week at Newman!

The SJHN community collected over 1,200 pairs of socks during Socktober—nearly double last year’s total—while supporting local outreach organizations and promoting the importance of giving back. In November, Kindness Week reinforced that “Kindness Kounts at SJHN” through school-wide activities that encouraged positive actions, community support, and everyday kindness.
