St. John Henry Newman Catholic Secondary School is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our Annual Designer Purse Bingo on Friday, April 17. Proceeds from this event will support SJHN as well as the Cancer Assistance Program, a local charity that provides free services to individuals battling cancer. ​

Parent‑Teacher Interviews at St. John Henry Newman CSS will take place in person on Thursday, March 26, with 5‑minute appointments available in both the afternoon and evening through Microsoft Bookings. Families are encouraged to book early, follow posted room locations on arrival, and note that students will be dismissed at noon that day.

The link below provides access to the online store where students can purchase their Phys‑Ed and Dance class uniform items from T. Litzen Sports. All required uniform pieces are available directly through this portal for convenient ordering. Once orders are placed, they will be delivered to the school for pick‑up between February 23–27. Families will be notified when items are ready for distribution. Please ensure that your child’s full name is used when completing the order form to support accurate sorting and delivery. We appreciate your cooperation in helping streamline this process for all students.

Hamilton Public Health Services will be holding a vaccine clinic at St. John Henry Newman on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. This is not a COVID vaccine clinic. These clinics are an opportunity to update records and/or receive missing routine childhood vaccinations. What you need to know • View vaccine records and/or report vaccines by visiting: www.hamilton.ca/vaccines or call Hamilton Public Health Services: 905-540-5250 • On the clinic day, wear a short-sleeved shirt and eat breakfast. • Did you receive a vaccine reminder letter? If so, bring it to the clinic with your yellow vaccine card if you have one. • Failure to receive required vaccinations can result in future suspension.
